The government has simplified mobilization: who will automatically receive a deferment.
According to ТСН: The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has simplified the military registration procedure by amending Resolution No. 560. Now, most conscripts can automatically receive an extension of their deferment from mobilization without visiting the TCC.
This was reported by former Human Rights Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada Lyudmila Denisova on Facebook.
According to Denisova, the new automation is based on data from state registers. If the information about the right to deferment is already in the system or circumstances have not changed, the status is extended 'with one click'. Citizens will learn about the successful extension through push notifications in the 'Reserve+' app.
'The automatic mode applies to persons with disabilities, students, parents of many children, and several other categories. This significantly reduces the bureaucratic burden on people,' she emphasized.
Who is included in the ‘automatic extension’ list
The new rules cover a wide range of citizens whose status is documented:
Health status: people with disabilities and individuals recognized as temporarily unfit for service.
Parents and guardians: those who raise a child with a disability (under 18 years old or an adult of group I/II); parents of three or more children (born in one marriage).
Students and educators: higher education seekers, postgraduates, as well as university and vocational school teachers.
Family circumstances: individuals who care for a spouse or parents with disabilities of group I or II.
Military personnel: former prisoners; individuals who have lost loved ones during the war; relatives of fallen Heroes of Ukraine (Revolution of Dignity).
What to do if the deferment was not automatically extended
If you belong to one of the categories but did not receive a notification in 'Reserve+', this may indicate one of two problems:
Missing data: information about your benefit is not included in the state register.
Outdated information: data needs to be updated.
In this case, you need to contact the Administrative Services Center (ASC) or TCC, provide current documents, and update your information for the correct status display in the system.
Recall that a decision was previously made on the automatic military registration of citizens. These innovations will significantly ease the lives of many, as they will reduce bureaucratic barriers and simplify access to important services in difficult times.
