Demand for Used Electric Cars in Ukraine Soars.
In May of this year, sales of used electric vehicles in Ukraine surged by 40% compared to last year, exceeding 4.7 thousand units. According to 'Ukravtoprom', these figures closely match the results from April of this year.
The average age of these cars is five years. In May, the best-selling models were the Tesla Model Y, Nissan Leaf, and Tesla Model 3. Also in the top 10 were the KIA Niro EV, Hyundai Kona Electric, Chevrolet Bolt, Volkswagen e-Golf, Renault Zoe, Tesla Model S, and Audi E-Tron Sportback.
According to the association, since the beginning of this year, Ukrainians have purchased over 20.6 thousand imported used electric vehicles, which is 30% more than during the same period last year.
Sales of used electric vehicles in Ukraine have significantly increased compared to previous periods, indicating a growing consumer interest in environmentally friendly modes of transport. The popularity of Tesla and other electric vehicle manufacturers reflects a trend in the used car market in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian electric vehicle market continues to grow, reflecting an overall trend towards more environmentally friendly modes of transport. Leading sales positions are already occupied by well-known brands like Tesla and Nissan, indicating a stable popularity of these vehicles among Ukrainian buyers.
