The Ministry of Defense has put into operation the first underground stabilization point for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The hospital is constructed from six steel bunkers equipped with ventilation systems, water supply, and alternative power sources. According to the ministry, thanks to modern medical equipment, including operating blocks and intensive care units, it can provide assistance to over 100 wounded per day. The project is the first step in a large-scale initiative that involves building more than 20 such stabilization points.
"These underground stabilization points are critically important for saving the lives of our soldiers. In conditions of intense fighting, we must ensure maximum protection and rapid medical assistance to our heroes. This is the first step in a large-scale project that will strengthen our medical infrastructure and allow us to more effectively support the defenders on the front line," emphasized the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov.
