Biometric identification of the deceased has been introduced in Ukraine: how it will work.
According to inkorr.com: An experimental project has been launched in Ukraine aimed at using biometric identification to establish the identity of the deceased. This was reported by Interior Minister Igor Klymenko. In addition to traditional DNA analysis, fingerprinting will also be involved to identify individuals by their fingerprints.
'This is an additional tool that will allow us to establish the identities of the deceased more quickly, and their families to receive answers to the most painful questions,' explained the minister.
Klymenko noted that the work of investigators, experts, and other specialists is complex and requires high attention to detail. The identification process can take a long time, but it is important that the results are as accurate as possible.
'We are obliged to return the names of our Heroes - with dignity and accuracy, ensuring their place in the memory of the nation,' noted Igor Klymenko.
The implementation of the experimental program for biometric identification of the deceased aims to speed up the process of establishing the identity of the deceased and to provide families with long-awaited answers to their questions.
This project is of great importance for the families of the deceased, as it will help ease their pain by allowing them to learn more quickly about the fate of their loved ones. With the help of new technologies, Ukraine hopes to not only improve the efficiency of law enforcement but also enhance those emotional moments when families receive confirmation of the identity of their loved ones.
