Ukraine is creating its own AI factory: how it will change state services.
Ukraine's Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced the launch of AI Factory - a project that will develop a powerful national infrastructure for state AI services. This will allow requests to be processed faster and ensure data retention within Ukraine.
AI Factory will be based on the infrastructure being created by WINWIN AI Center of Excellence under the Ministry of Digital Transformation. It will handle key state services with artificial intelligence, which will be used in various fields, including defense, medicine, and scientific research.
AI Factory will have technological equipment, software, data, and training programs for specialists. This will facilitate data processing in Ukraine, increase cyber resilience, and allow the state to implement new AI products more quickly.
Ukraine is launching the first state infrastructure for the development of artificial intelligence, which will enable the country to process data more efficiently, ensure data retention on its own territory, and actively utilize artificial intelligence in various areas such as medicine, defense, and science.
