Fare for electric transport in Odessa will change from December 1.
Starting December 1, 2024, the Odessa Municipal Electric Transport Company plans to change the fares for public electric transport (trams, trolleybuses), and the funicular. This initiative is supported by the Department of Transport, Communications and Road Traffic Management of the Odessa City Council, which also proposes to change the prices for regular travel tickets. This was reported by the Odessa City Council.
For students attending day schools, the fares will be as follows:
- tram - UAH 120.00,
- trolleybus - UAH 120.00,
- tram-trolleybus - UAH 160.00.
Prices will also change for students of I-IV accreditation levels and students of vocational schools attending day classes:
- tram - UAH 240.00,
- trolleybus - UAH 240.00,
- tram-trolleybus - UAH 340.00.
For business trips of employees of enterprises, institutions, and organizations (by non-cash payment), the fares will be:
- tram - UAH 630.00,
- trolleybus - UAH 630.00,
- tram-trolleybus - UAH 756.00.
For city residents, the fares will be:
- tram - UAH 420.00,
- trolleybus - UAH 420.00,
- tram-trolleybus - UAH 567.00.
It is worth reminding that due to the increase in electricity and fuel prices in Ukraine, public transport will become more expensive. Fares in some regions may increase by up to 50%. 'Glavkom' analyzed how this could affect passengers in the near future.
