On July 21, a court hearing took place in Lviv regarding the murder of the renowned linguist and public figure Iryna Faryon. The judge decided to extend the detention period for the defendant Vyacheslav Zinchenko.

The court decided to extend the detention period for the suspect in the murder of Faryon until September 19 without the possibility of bail.
