From Defense to Offensive on the Kursk: Syrskyi Reported on Military Achievements.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported that the Ukrainian army has achieved significant results in resisting the Russian aggressor over the past year. Despite the enemy's advantage in personnel and equipment, the Ukrainian government managed to increase effectiveness through significant transformation.
One of the key achievements lies in the development of unmanned systems. Ukraine is utilizing over 1.3 million drones and striking at 461 thousand targets. The gap in artillery ammunition supply has also been reduced.
The term of basic military training has been increased to 1.5 months, and training with foreign weapon samples has become a norm for the Ukrainian army. Ukrainian soldiers have also expanded the geography of attacks and conducted successful offensives on Russian territory.
The Ukrainian army conducted a successful operation in Kursk, dealing significant losses to the enemy. 924 Russian soldiers were captured.
Changes were also made in the command structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which improved the number of units and trained servicemen according to NATO standards.
General Syrskyi called for unity among the Ukrainian people and emphasized that the Ukrainian army is the guarantor of Ukraine's existence and will defend it until victory.
Earlier, Syrskyi stressed the importance of the Kursk operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
