Power outage: how the schedules will operate on October 10.
Tomorrow, October 10, no measures are planned to restrict electricity consumption. This is reported by the press service of "Ukrenergo".
Please use powerful electrical appliances during the day - from 10:00 to 16:00, - the message states.
As is known, today, October 9, measures to restrict electricity consumption are not forecasted.
It should be noted that the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine predicts that this winter Ukrainians should expect power outages lasting from four to 18 hours per day.
It is worth noting that government officials state that there will be no problems with power supply in Ukraine by the end of October and in November. They also express hope that this winter will pass almost without outages as last year.
As reported, due to the cancellation of hourly outage schedules from September 9, electricity consumption in Ukraine is increasing.
The State Agency for the Restoration and Development of Infrastructure has begun constructing the third level of passive protection at NEC "Ukrenergo" substations, but international partners see no justification for financing such an expensive project before testing this technology. Earlier, the former head of "Ukrenergo," Volodymyr Kudrytsky, reported that Ukraine's energy facilities would have three levels of protection in the form of engineering fortifications in case of Russian attacks.
Additionally, the European Commission is working on increasing the maximum supply volume of electricity to Ukraine. The G7 countries and other partners have collected over $4 billion since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion for the restoration of Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
