On July 10, border guards in Lithuania noticed a homemade drone flying from Belarus. According to the State Border Guard Service, at 11:30, the border guards of the Kenes Post in the Vilnius region spotted an unknown aerial device that resembled a homemade UAV. It fell near the closed checkpoint Shumskie, about a kilometer from the border with Belarus.
According to the Delfi portal, this drone turned out to be an imitation of the strike kamikaze drone 'Shahed'. A representative of the Lithuanian border guard service, Gedrius Misiutis, noted that this aircraft showed no signs of combat purpose and posed no threat. The drone was made of lightweight materials — plywood and foam.

According to the Delfi portal, the fallen drone has been identified as a Russian device model 'Herber' — a cheap and simplified version of the Iranian kamikaze drone Shahed-136.
