Power outage: how the schedules will work on October 2.
No electricity consumption restrictions are expected on October 2. This was reported by the press service of "Ukrenergo".
"Tomorrow, on Wednesday, no consumption limitation measures are planned. If possible, we ask you to postpone consumption to the period of active SES operation as much as possible. Please use powerful electrical appliances from 10:00 to 16:00", the statement says.
No electricity consumption restrictions are expected on October 1 either.
Recall that, according to the forecasts of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, Ukrainians will have to anticipate power outages from four to 18 hours a day this winter.
Government officials claim that there will be no problems with energy supply in Ukraine until the end of October and in November. They also hope that this winter will pass without outages, as did the last one.
It should be noted that since September 9, the demand for electricity consumption in Ukraine has increased due to the cancellation of the schedules of phased outages.
The State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development has started the construction of the third level of passive protection at the substations of NEC "Ukrenergo", but international partners do not see the feasibility of financing such an expensive project until this technology is tested. Former head of "Ukrenergo" Volodymyr Kudrytskyi previously reported that Ukraine's energy facilities would have three levels of protection against Russian attacks.
In addition, the European Commission is working on increasing electricity supplies to Ukraine. The G7 countries and other partners have raised over 4 billion dollars for the restoration of Ukraine's energy infrastructure since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion.
