Angelika Rudnitskaya explained why Lorak and Povalij stayed in Russia.
According to ТСН: The singer and host, president of the art agency 'Territory A' Angelika Rudnitskaya shared her thoughts on why the controversial Ani Lorak and Taisia Povalij chose the side of Russia. In her opinion, both artists, despite the war, continued to live in Russia, earning income in rubles and supporting propaganda, justifying the actions of the occupiers.
Why did Taisia Povalij choose Russia?
Rudnitskaya noted that she came across a video where Povalij talks about 'great love for Russia'. She finds this absurd, as the singer is originally from Kyiv region, where she gained her popularity. According to Rudnitskaya, someone may have influence over Povalij:
'Sometimes, short videos with Taya appear on social media. It's so disgusting and absurd that it's hard to take seriously: a girl from Shamyraivka in the Kyiv region talks about the 'great Russia' that gave her everything. This, to put it mildly, is nonsense. It seems to me that someone is constantly controlling her, and she succumbs to it.'
Ani Lorak and her search for happiness
As for Ani Lorak, according to Rudnitskaya, she chose Russia for different reasons. The host noted that the singer is constantly searching for her own happiness, and everything else does not interest her:
'As for Ani Lorak, from what I see, she is constantly in search of personal happiness. Everything else does not interest her.'
It should be noted that earlier, Angelika Rudnitskaya also expressed her dislike for the artist Olya Polyakova, explaining her reasons.
This position of Angelika Rudnitskaya highlights the deep disappointment of many Ukrainians in their former compatriots who support the aggressor country. It is worth noting that the situation with artists who choose sides in wartime remains a very sensitive topic for society, as it exposes various moral aspects related to patriotism and betrayal.
