Postponement without a visit to TCC: Ministry of Defense announced a new function in 'Reserve+'.
It will be possible for conscripted men to obtain a postponement without visiting territorial recruitment centers. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernogorenko at the IT Arena 2024 conference in Lviv.
«In order to make a postponement, we not only have to amend the regulatory framework, but also the registry owners from whom data is obtained must be ready for this», said Chernogorenko.
From the beginning of November 2024, it is planned to activate three forms of postponements for various categories of citizens, such as full-time students, parents with many children, and people with disabilities. The Ministry of Defense is already working on changes in the regulatory framework to adapt to the innovations.
«We want the person who has the right to a postponement not to write an application by hand and not to go to the recruitment center, but to be able to declare their right in a few minutes, and this postponement to be legal», added Chernogorenko.
Thanks to the new service, citizens who have the right to a postponement will be able to apply through a mobile application in a few minutes, without visiting the recruitment center.
Let us remind you that economic reservation from mobilization may come into force this year.
For example, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal stated that in Ukraine more than 900 thousand people have a reservation from mobilization and its volumes may increase.
As reported, the law on the return of a postponement from conscription for conscripted persons whose minor brother or sister went missing or died during combat operations has come into effect.
