Deferral for caregiving — how long TCC issues it
If a conscript citizen has arranged a deferral from mobilization for caregiving, it will last until the moment of the extension of martial law and mobilization. After that, in theory, it should be extended automatically.

This was reported on the 'Jurists.UA' portal by lawyer Vladyslav Deriy.

Deferral for caregiving and extension

A citizen approached the lawyers inquiring how long his deferral, issued by the TCC, would last.

In response, lawyer Vladyslav Deriy noted that the duration of the deferral depends on the reason for which it was granted.

'Currently, martial law and general mobilization are extended until August 7, 2025. Therefore, until this date, you will have a deferral,' stated Deriy.

Do I need to go to the TCC for the extension of the deferral

After this, the citizen does not need to do anything for its extension, as the deferral should continue automatically.

'If this does not happen, then you need to resend the documents again,' emphasized Vladyslav Deriy.

As we can see, it is even possible not to visit the TCC in person, but to arrange a deferral remotely via mail.

The 'Jurists.UA' portal published an article in which lawyer Vladyslav Deriy explained that the deferral from mobilization for caregiving will last until the moment of extension of martial law and mobilization, after which it should be automatically extended. Citizens will not need to personally contact the TCC for this, as the procedure can be conducted remotely via mail.
