Huge traffic jams have formed at the border with Moldova: how to avoid queues.
This evening, August 16, large traffic jams have already occurred on the Odesa-Reni road towards Moldova, especially near Palanka. The crossing towards the checkpoint to Romania is currently free, but one should be prepared for possible delays.
According to Google Maps, there are small car queues near the checkpoint 'Palanka - Mayaki - Udobne'. The waiting time can reach two hours. There is also a small queue at the checkpoint in Reni, but it is not significant. Currently, there is no information about traffic jams towards 'Starokozache - Tudora'.
Traffic jams towards Romania
At the ferry crossing at the checkpoint 'Orlivka - Isakcha', there is currently no waiting time. Also, no traffic jams have been recorded in the vicinity of the Kofa Canal. The trip from Odesa to Romania now takes about 4 hours.
