Large traffic jams have formed at the border with Moldova: how long will you have to wait.
This morning, August 16, significant traffic jams have formed on the Odesa-Reni highway towards Moldova. Traffic jams towards Romania are only recorded near some border villages.

Traffic jams to Moldova
At the 'Palanka — Maiaki — Udobne' checkpoint, a large queue of cars has formed, and it will take about an hour to wait in it. The road to this checkpoint is also complicated in places. Travelers should consider this when planning their route. At the checkpoint in Reni, according to the mapping service, no traffic jams are observed. As for 'Starokozache — Tudora', no jams have been recorded so far.
Traffic jams to Romania
Near the closest ferry crossing to Romania, the 'Orlivka — Isaccea' checkpoint currently has no traffic jams. In the area of the Kofa canal, no jams are recorded either. However, passage is complicated near the border village of Broska. The trip from Odesa will take about 5 hours.
According to the mapping web service Google Maps, today significant traffic jams have formed on the Odesa-Reni highway towards Moldova, while the situation towards Romania is better. This may affect travel time and the need to reserve more time for moving.
