The Vice President of the United States expressed hope for the end of the war between Russia and Ukraine

According to FREEДOM: JD Vance expressed hope that the war with Russia against Ukraine could end within six months. He made this statement in an interview with NBC. At the same time, the Vice President acknowledged that difficulties may arise during the negotiations, reports FREEДOM.

Optimism regarding Donald Trump's diplomacy

Vance expressed optimism about Trump's 'energetic diplomacy.'

'Right now we have a president who is actively engaged in diplomacy to stop the killings. Regardless of the outcome - whether the war ends within three or six months, but I hope sooner - we should be proud that our president is trying to stop the violence. Sometimes we make significant progress in negotiations with the Russians, sometimes, as the president said, he is frustrated. But we will continue to do everything necessary to resolve this matter. I don’t believe this will happen overnight,' the Vice President of the United States noted.

Let us remind you that military analyst and fighter of the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Musienko emphasizes that for real negotiations, hostilities must first be halted to find diplomatic solutions to the conflict. However, Russia refuses to agree to a ceasefire, creating an illusion of the negotiation process.

Vance's statement highlights the importance of attempts to intimidate to stop violence through diplomacy and emphasizes the difficulties in the negotiation process with Russia, which is not seeking a ceasefire and continues to use the illusion of negotiations.
