Ukraine's Military Needs and Preparation for 'Ramstein': Umerov Called Pentagon Chief Austin.
Defense Ministers of Ukraine Rustem Umerov and the USA Lloyd Austin discussed the needs of the defense forces and preparation for 'Ramstein'. They held their weekly phone conversation.
As reported by 'Hviliya', the head of the Ukrainian defense department reported this on his Facebook page.
In particular, Umerov informed Austin about the current situation on all front lines. They also discussed urgent military needs and plans for the near future. An important issue of preparation for the September meeting in the Ramstein format was raised.
'Expressed gratitude to the United States for unwavering and strong support for Ukraine,' Umerov emphasized.
In turn, Austin reported that during the conversation, he congratulated the Ukrainian people on the eve of Independence Day.
'I provided an update on the $125 million security aid package announced today by the US President, emphasizing our unwavering support for Ukraine,' said the head of the Pentagon.
Recall, Umerov told US congressmen about Ukraine's goals at the RF border.
