Commemoration of Oleg Khoroshailo

Every day at 9 o'clock, Ukrainians remember all those whose lives were taken by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we honor the memory of Oleg Khoroshailo.

Ukrainian defender Oleg Khoroshailo was killed in the war with Russian occupiers on April 22, 2025. This was reported by Glavkom citing the Lviv City Council.

Oleg Khoroshailo was born on June 16, 1969, in the city of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. He studied at Lyceum No. 35 named after Valentin Shayman of the Kramatorsk City Council in Donetsk region and obtained an education at the Donbas State Engineering Academy. After his studies, he served in the border guards in Transcarpathia.

In 2014, together with his family, he moved to Lviv, where he started working in the real estate sector and was passionate about music.

After the war began, the Ukrainian defender became a volunteer and participated in combat operations in the east of the country.

The funeral took place on May 7, 2025, in Lviv, where he was buried at Lychakiv Cemetery. Oleg Khoroshailo left behind his parents, wife, and two daughters.
