Visit of the President of the Czech Republic to Ukraine, new regulator in the gambling market. Main points from March 21.
President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel arrived in Ukraine as part of his visit. This is the second city he has visited - initially, he was in Odesa, where he met with the regional leadership. The Czech Republic is actively working on the reconstruction of communities and regions in Ukraine, providing financial and material assistance.
The court has convicted former people's deputy Iryna Koryshkina for illegal enrichment. She received five years in prison and a fine of 68,000 UAH. She is also banned from holding positions related to the performance of state functions.
The Cabinet of Ministers has created a new regulator for the gambling and lottery market. The agency will be responsible for the organization and conduct of these games.
The Security Service uncovered a criminal scheme in the Kyiv City State Administration, where the perpetrators embezzled nearly 60 million UAH intended for seriously ill patients. Four individuals who abused their status and took the funds for personal use have been detained.
