Naval Forces spokesman Captain 2nd Rank Dmytro Pletenchuk reported that drone strikes targeted the radar complex and other facilities that protect military bases in this territory.

Main goal - elimination of the air defense system

Captain Pletenchuk emphasized that the destruction of the Russian air defense system is a key task for further operations. He explained that the Russians use their air defense assets to protect military sites, which are critically important for successful advances in combat operations.

'The Russians always try to restore their complex and expensive air defense system, but this will be a huge challenge for them,' he added.

The attacks on key objects of the Russian air defense system in Crimea indicate the increasing activity of the Ukrainian military in this region and their intention to reduce the enemy's capabilities for defense operations. The destruction of the air defense system is an important step in ensuring security and safeguarding Ukraine's territorial integrity.
