Drivers in Kyiv region warned about road hazards: what weather is expected.
Overcast weather and ice on the roads in Kyiv region
On Friday, February 7, residents of Kyiv region and the capital will encounter overcast weather and possible icy conditions. This was reported by the press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
Even if the day in Kyiv region promises to be calm, it will still have its peculiarities typical for February. The sky over Kyiv will be changeable, but without precipitation, which will be good for outdoor enthusiasts. The wind will be northeastern at a speed of 5-10 m/s.
The air temperature at night will be from -3 to -8 degrees Celsius, and during the day - from -3 degrees to +2 degrees. In Kyiv itself, night temperatures are expected to be -3 to -5 degrees, while daytime temperatures will approach zero.
Drivers should be particularly cautious as icy conditions may form on the roads. It is recommended to choose a safe speed and be careful on the road.
