Drivers warned about danger on the roads: weather prepares unpleasant surprises.
Forecasters are warning residents of Kyiv and the region about dangerous weather. According to Ukrhydrometcentre, on Monday, January 13, variable cloudiness and light precipitation are expected in Kyiv region and the capital, but the greatest danger comes from ice slicks on the roads.
Air temperature at night is expected to be from -2 to -7 degrees, during the day from -3 to +2 degrees in the region. In Kyiv, it will be even colder, with nighttime temperatures from -4 to -6 degrees and daytime temperatures from 0 to -2 degrees. The wind will be northwestern at a speed of 5-10 m/s.
Forecasters also warn of possible complications for the operation of energy, construction, and utility companies and transportation.
It was previously reported that after 'spring warmth' frost will come down to -9 degrees.
