The information on the losses of Russian invaders in the war on the territory of Ukraine has been updated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces as of the morning of Friday, May 9, 2025.
Russia's Losses as of May 9, 2025
According to updated data, the Russian Federation has suffered the following losses in the war with Ukraine as of May 9:
- personnel – about 963270 (+1300) individuals,
- tanks – 10786 (+4) units,
- armored fighting vehicles – 22433 (+4) units,
- artillery systems – 27588 (+36) units,
- MLRS – 1380 (+1) units,
- anti-aircraft systems – 1157 (+1) units,
- aircraft – 372 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 335 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical UAVs – 35446 (+39),
- cruise missiles – 3197 (+0),
- ships / boats – 28 (+0) units,
- submarines – 1 (+0) unit,
- automotive and tanker vehicles – 47724 (+120) units,
- special equipment – 3875 (+0).
Activity of the Invaders' Fleet
- In the Black Sea, four enemy ships were detected, three of which are carriers of cruise missiles "Kalibr", with a total of 14 missiles;
- In the Sea of Azov, there were no enemy ships;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, three enemy ships were also detected, one of which is a carrier of cruise missiles "Kalibr", with a total of up to eight missiles.
During the day, the following passed through the Kerch Strait in the interests of the RF:
- to the Black Sea – five vessels, of which three continued towards the Bosporus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov – four vessels, of which two continued from the Bosporus Strait.
It is reminded that the full-scale war on the territory of Ukraine is currently in its 1171st day.
The updated data on losses and the activity of the enemy fleet provide a clearer view of the current situation in the region, demonstrating the dynamics of events in the military sphere.
