Already 56 Hryvnias per liter: Ukrainians were shown what is happening with fuel prices at filling stations.

Since the beginning of 2025, Ukraine has experienced a significant rise in fuel prices, which is concerning drivers across the country. The average price of A-95 gasoline has reached 57 Hryvnias per liter, which is 1.41 Hryvnias higher than in December of last year, reports 'Consulting Group A-95'.
The greatest increase occurred in the price of diesel fuel - the price reached 55.32 Hryvnias per liter, which is 2.57 Hryvnias higher, while the price of liquefied gas increased by 1.77 Hryvnias and is now 37.17 Hryvnias per liter.
There are significant discrepancies in prices at filling stations across different regions and gas station networks. In the 'Avantage 7' network in Kyiv region, the cheapest A-95 gasoline costs 52.95 Hryvnias per liter, while in premium networks WOG, SOCAR, and OKKO - 59.99 Hryvnias per liter. Diesel prices show even greater differences - from 48.70 Hryvnias in the 'Faktor' network in Zhytomyr region to 58.99 Hryvnias in the premium segment.
Fuel market expert Serhiy Kuyn shared his vision of the situation. 'There are no grounds to talk about a price increase of 7 or 10 Hryvnias or 20-15% of the price. This requires a simultaneous increase in taxes, a rise in oil prices to 100 dollars per barrel, and significant devaluation of the Hryvnia,' noted the expert.
Last year, fuel prices moderately increased - by 4.7 Hryvnias per liter for A-95 gasoline, by 2.4 Hryvnias for diesel fuel, and by 3.1 Hryvnias for liquefied gas. The main factors affecting price remain world oil prices, which last year averaged 75 dollars per barrel, the exchange rate, and changes in tax legislation.
