The video shows a woman in a red T-shirt and dark shorts angrily grabbing her bag from the sunbed, having previously smiled at one signal, and starts accusing a group of tourists who supposedly took her spot.

After this, she walks around the pool and continues yelling at another vacationer who is enjoying a swim.

So-called 'sunbed wars'

Some of the tactics used to grab the best spots by the pool include rising at dawn to place towels on sunbeds and 'reserve' them.

Tourist Louise Smith was astonished to see tourists lining up at 7:30 AM to stake their favorite spots for lounging by the pool at the hotel where the iconic ITV show 'Benidorm' was filmed in May.

At the same time, in Playa de las Américas, some tourists were even called 'pathetic' for waiting by the pool before they threw their sunbeds. There was also a TikTok video where at least six vacationers stood by an empty pool, bags in hand, waiting for the staff to allow them.
