In Volyn, almost every conscript goes through the military medical commission with a lawyer. The head of the Volyn Regional State Administration's health department, Yuriy Legkodukh, said this on the "Konkurrent TV" channel.

Well, almost every conscript comes with a lawyer... They simply want legal support during the process. And no doctor will take on the responsibility of writing down unknown things and deceiving because all of this is recorded and logged. Therefore, it's a mistaken belief that if you've come to the military medical commission, it's all over," the medic emphasized.

Yuriy Legkodukh highlighted cases of delays in medical conclusions and unjustified referrals for additional examinations while going through the commission.

We try to identify instances of delays, referrals to some additional examinations, exaggerations, where there is no disease... When a person is healthy, has never been ill, you won't just write them up... I always emphasize and tell all the heads of the military medical commissions: "Friends, remember the responsibility." It cannot be that a patient comes with a "bare" medical history, has never sought medical attention before, and suddenly you find hypertension, strokes, heart attacks in their history... That doesn't work now," noted the chief medic of Volyn.

As is known, the Ministry of Defense has tripled its mobilization targets. The next goal of the Ministry of Defense is the reform of territorial recruitment and social support centers.

Ukrainian Army Mobilization Plans

It is worth recalling that Ukraine intends to mobilize another 200,000 recruits by the end of 2024, but the realization of these plans seems doubtful, as reported by The Times. According to the information, fulfilling this plan might be difficult due to various factors, including a decrease in the number of conscription-aged men and increasing resistance to mobilization among the population.

It was reported that deputies want to give Ukrainians, who have never been to a recruitment center, the opportunity to pay a 8,500 UAH fine on their own initiative via "Reserve+".

Restriction on Drafting Men Aged 50-60

By the way, combat units refuse to draft men aged 50-60, as they are no longer able to perform the necessary tasks. However, there are two cases where this category can still be drafted.

Also, throughout 2024, over six million conscripts failed to update their data in Time. This was stated by Oleksandr Fediienko, a member of the national security, defense, and intelligence committee of the Verkhovna Rada.
