The former head of the Mukachevo District State Administration, Serhiy Haidai, and two other defendants in the case of people's deputy Oleksiy Kuznetsov were granted bail. All three were supposed to be released from custody, but the court imposed a number of restrictions on them.

This was reported by journalist Oleg Novikov on Telegram on August 7.

Bail for the three defendants in the Kuznetsov case

Novikov explained that 10 million UAH was deposited into the account of the VAKS for the former head of the Mukachevo District State Administration, Serhiy Haidai, as well as 2 million UAH each for the director of the 'Acopters' company, Yevheniya Sydelykova, and the commander of a unit of the National Guard, Vasyl Myshanskyi.

'All three were supposed to be released from custody. The court imposed restrictions on them: not to leave designated cities, not to contact the defendants in the case, to surrender their passports, and to wear electronic bracelets', - reported the journalist.

What Haidai and Kuznetsov are suspected of

It should be noted that on August 2, the NABU announced that they had uncovered a criminal group created by MP from the 'Servant of the People' Oleksiy Kuznetsov and former head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Haidai. According to the Bureau, they organized the procurement of drones and means of electronic warfare (EW) for the National Guard at inflated prices and embezzled over 4 million UAH - 30% of the contract amounts.

At the same time, Kuznetsov's and Haidai's defenders consider the suspicion to be unfounded and call it 'pure provocation'. Thus, already on August 4, the High Anti-Corruption Court arrested both suspects with the possibility of being released on bail of 8 and 10 million UAH.

After bail was posted for the three defendants in the case of people's deputy Oleksiy Kuznetsov, the court imposed restrictions on them, prohibiting them from leaving designated cities and contacting other defendants in the case. It is noted that the suspects are required to surrender their passports and wear electronic bracelets.
