Several members of the band 'Zhadan and Dogs' have been serving in the National Guard of Ukraine for over a year. The artists joined the 'Khartiya' brigade — some in the communications department, others in the camouflage platoon.

What the band members do in the Khartiya brigade In May 2024, several members of the 'Zhadan and Dogs' band joined the National Guard. They serve in the 13th National Guard Brigade 'Khartiya', which has been participating in the defense of Ukraine since the beginning of the invasion. Sergiy Zhadan works in the communications department, while his band colleagues assist in the camouflage and simulation platoon, aiding military operations with smoke screens and other means to deceive the enemy.

After merging with the National Guard of Ukraine, the members of the band 'Zhadan and Dogs' joined the 'Khartiya' brigade and actively support the army, participating in communication and strategic operations. This is an example of coordinated work between citizens and the military for the benefit of state defense.
