The National Guard reported that Russian occupation forces are trying to advance along the southern flanks of Pokrovsk to take control of logistical routes and expand the 'gray zone'.
'We see attempts by the enemy to advance along the southern flanks of Pokrovsk with the aim, among other things, of taking control of logistical routes and expanding the 'gray zone'', - said Muzichuk, spokesman for the National Guard of Ukraine, on air during a telethon.
The spokesperson also noted that mercenaries are trying to mobilize small groups of infantry (from two to ten soldiers) to carry out offensive actions.
'Such assault actions are almost constant. Notably, the enemy rarely uses armored vehicles in this regard. Since the beginning of the week, our servicemen have mainly destroyed various types of automotive equipment, as well as motorcycles that our opponent uses for planned offensives', - added Muzichuk.
