Swim to Moldova on inflatable rings. Border guards detained two violators (video).
The military of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi border detachment detected an attempt to illegally cross the border. Using technical surveillance tools, they noticed two individuals trying to swim across the Dniester River to reach Moldova, using inflatable rings and a paddle.
These individuals, one from Kyiv and the other from Vinnytsia, broke the law and endangered their lives. The border patrol quickly apprehended them as they could not pass unnoticed. The men purchased inflatable tubing rings in Vinnytsia and independently chose their route, while they found the paddle along the way. They decided to swim across the river at night, hoping that the border guards would not notice them.
The violators were held administratively accountable.
Recall that the capital's police prevented the illegal crossing of conscripts across the border. Two Kyiv residents paved their way to Moldova, avoiding official checkpoints to escape conscription to European Union countries. This service cost them 15 thousand dollars.
Border guards of the Mukachevo detachment also detained two conscripts who had wandered in the mountains for three days to illegally enter Romania.
