Ukrainian enterprises operating in the field of nuclear energy safety must pay higher salaries to comply with the requirements set by the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate. In particular, the salary level may be increased from 3.5 to 4.5. These changes are stipulated in Order No. 838, which amends the criteria for identifying important enterprises for the economy in the field of nuclear energy safety.

More details on the increase in the average salary threshold

According to the new requirements, enterprises that are considered critically important must pay their employees an average salary of at least 36 thousand UAH, multiplied by a coefficient of 4.5. It is important to confirm this with the appropriate certificate.

The previous salary average requirements were limited to the amount of 12 thousand UAH. It is expected that the order will come into effect after official publication.

Criteria for the status of a critically important enterprise

To be recognized as a critically important enterprise, a business must meet certain criteria defined by government resolution. Among them - an average salary of employees of at least 20 thousand UAH and the absence of tax and social contribution debt. Regarding the third criterion, compliance with it can be achieved by various means.

Ukrainian enterprises engaged in nuclear energy usage are required to increase salary levels to comply with new requirements from the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate. The new rules entail an increase in the average salary of employees, as well as clarified criteria for recognizing enterprises as critically important in the field of nuclear energy safety.
