Every day at 9 AM, Ukrainians honor the memory of those who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Pavlo Vedybida.

On November 13, 2024, Pavlo Vedybida, a senior lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, known as 'Obolonchik', died. He gave his life for the independence of Ukraine in battle near Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region. This was reported by FC 'Obolon' Kyiv.

Pavlo was born on July 13, 1990.

Pavlo participated in combat actions since 2014, including the defense of Savur-Mohyla, Donetsk airport, and other strategic positions.

In 2022-2024, he served in the 112th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Obolon district, participated in the defense of Kyiv, battles near Lysychansk, the liberation of Klishchiyivka during the counteroffensive, and the defense of Chasiv Yar, where he was injured.

He was a founder of the Obolon branch of the Right Sector and the Ultras movement 'Obolon'. He was an active participant in the Maidan. His motto was: 'You will gain the Ukrainian State, or you will die in the struggle for it.'

Pavlo Vedybida, known as 'Obolonchik', died on November 13, 2024. He gave his life for the independence of Ukraine in a battle near Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region.

'Pavlo was a legend, immortal and steadfast in his loyalty to the Motherland,' wrote about our defender in FC 'Obolon' Kyiv.

'Leader of one of the strongest gangs in Ukraine, Obolon Crew, until the gang ceased to exist. One of the best people I have met on my path, a person who was not afraid of anything or anyone in life. He taught me how to tease and generally drew my attention to this sport,' wrote MMA fighter from grappling Yevheniy Vulf about Vedybida.

Farewell to Senior Lieutenant Vedybida Pavlo Bohdanovych, known as 'Obolonchik', took place on November 30, 2024. The hero who died in battle was honored with military honors on Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv. Later, a funeral service was held at St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery. The warrior was buried at Berkovetske Cemetery.

'Glavkom' joins in a moment of silence, honoring the memory of all Ukrainians who died in the struggle for their homeland. We remember those fallen at the hands of Russian invaders and honor all who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine.
