The founder of the Telegram messenger, Pavel Durov, left France during the investigation of his case regarding offenses related to organized crime. This was reported by France 24.
According to the agency, the businessman left France on March 15. His current location is Dubai.
The Telegram press secretary refused to comment on this information. The company's statement is expected to be released later.
It is worth noting that Durov was detained along with Yulia Vavilova in Paris on August 24, 2024. Durov was later released on bail.
The Telegram messenger has begun cooperating with French law enforcement and is responding to their requests.
Additionally, Pavel Durov's mother said that he tried to convince her to move to the UAE with the children. After refusing this, she no longer receives financial support from her son.
