Zelensky and Trump prepare for a joint conversation with European leaders: what will they agree on.
According to ТСН: Before their personal meeting at the Mar-a-Lago residence, the presidents of Ukraine and the United States, Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump, plan to coordinate their positions with European partners.
According to information, a joint conference call is scheduled for Saturday, which will include Zelensky, Trump, and leading European leaders.
“During this conversation, all parties will be informed about the situation regarding peace negotiations”
Zelensky expressed hope that during the meeting with Trump, they would be able to agree on the main conditions for ending the war. He also noted that if Russia agrees to a ceasefire for at least 60 days, he is ready to present a corresponding peace plan for a nationwide referendum.
In addition, the Ukrainian president has already discussed this issue with the Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz. The main topic of their conversation was the coordination of efforts among European partners and preparations for upcoming negotiations in the United States.
Zelensky also communicated with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, where they discussed important aspects of the dialogue with Trump's representatives.
The preparation for the meeting between Zelensky and Trump underscores the importance of international coordination on security and peace issues in the region. The plans regarding the peace process, as well as the involvement of European leaders in this dialogue, indicate hope for positive changes in the situation in Ukraine.
