Zelensky and Trump to Discuss Security Guarantees and Peace Plan: Key Topics of the Meeting.
According to ТСН: Today, Ukrainian and American delegations will hold important negotiations.
This was reported by the President of Ukraine in response to journalists' questions.
“Today we have a bilateral track where we will discuss Ukraine-U.S. security guarantees, Ukraine-Europe security guarantees, military dimension, a welfare and recovery plan, and fifthly—a plan of sequential actions. We want to propose how step by step we can make all plans work. The U.S. will definitely discuss this with Russia and we will have feedback,” said the President of Ukraine.
Zelensky also traveled to Florida for a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump.
The President emphasized the importance of working on reducing unresolved issues in the future peace agreement, stressing that there are clear 'red lines' in Ukraine. In particular, this concerns occupied territories and the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
The head of state also drew attention to the fact that a peace plan is being developed in parallel, consisting of 20 points. This document requires the participation and agreement of four parties—Ukraine, the U.S., Europe, and Russia. Without Moscow, the implementation of such a plan is impossible.
Such negotiations are an important step for strengthening security in the region and determining further cooperation strategies. The Ukrainian authorities strive to ensure their security, considering international support, which can be a key factor in restoring peace processes.
