Zelenskyy Reveals Russia's Three-Month Toll: Nearly 100,000 Troops Killed.
Russian Military Losses
According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has highlighted the heavy toll on Russian forces over the past three months, noting that Moscow replenishes its army with 40,000 to 45,000 soldiers each month. This information underscores the ongoing threat posed by Russian aggression. According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine must eliminate roughly the same number of enemy troops to prevent a further buildup of Russian military strength.
'Russia consistently mobilizes 40–45 thousand people per month. To keep the Russian army from growing, we need to destroy about the same number. We destroy just to stop Russia from expanding its aggression,' the President stated.
Over the last three months, Ukrainian forces have achieved notable success in neutralizing Russian personnel. Specifically, 30,000, 35,000, and 28,000 Russian soldiers were eliminated in successive months, totaling nearly 100,000. These losses reveal the serious battlefield challenges facing the Russian military.
Financial Struggles and Consequences
In addition, Defense Ministry adviser Serhiy Sternenko reported that Russia is facing major issues with military payouts. This could further complicate the situation for Russian troops engaged in the conflict. The situation remains tense, and the next moves by both sides could significantly shape the course of events.
These figures highlight the complex frontline dynamics and the critical importance of continued international support for Ukraine. The loss of personnel may impact Russian troop morale and their combat effectiveness. Moreover, financial difficulties could worsen service conditions for Russian soldiers, potentially increasing desertion and discontent within their ranks. Thus, battlefield developments and Russia's internal problems may become decisive factors in the conflict's further escalation.
