The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his opinion on a possible meeting with the President of Russia Volodymyr Putin. According to him, such negotiations should take place only under clearly defined conditions and with the participation of international mediators.

During a conversation with Novyny.LIVE journalist Halyna Ostapovets, the Ukrainian president noted that the most optimal option for such a meeting is a format involving three parties — Ukraine, Russia, and the USA. It is mentioned that this format will provide real guarantees for the implementation of all agreed agreements.

Among the possible locations for the meeting of the leaders are being considered the Vatican, Austria, Switzerland, or Turkey. Zelensky emphasized that it is important to finalize the agreed points reached at previous meetings, foresee the exchanges that were agreed upon in Istanbul, and only after that discuss a specific plan for preparing for the meeting of the leaders.
