Over the past week, Russia has carried out mass attacks against Ukraine, firing more than 2000 different types of ammunition into Ukrainian territory. This was reported by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
'This week, the Russians launched more than 1260 aerial bombs, almost 750 strike drones, and more than 10 missiles of various types against our people,' said the head of state.
According to the President, the Russian military production that enables such large-scale attacks is based on three key factors. The first is fraudulent schemes to circumvent sanctions, through which Russia acquires the necessary components. The second is high oil prices that need to be lowered. The third is the insufficient number of Ukrainian long-range missiles and drones.
Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to partners for increasing sanctions pressure on Russia. At the same Time, he emphasized the need for the activation of global efforts to limit the capabilities of the Russian oil sector.
The President also highlighted the importance of developing the production of Ukrainian missiles and drones and called on international partners to invest in the Ukrainian defense industry, calling it an investment in the protection of life.
Earlier, Zelensky noted the importance of the Kursk operation.
