Zelensky announced a fixed price for gas: what else was approved for the winter period.
According to inkorr.com: On October 7, 2025, Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the citizens with important decisions regarding the fight against the crisis caused by Russian aggression, after 1322 days of war.
The head of state expressed gratitude to rescuers, energy workers, and other employees who help the population eliminate the consequences of Russian strikes. He also reported on the increase in patrols to ensure order and the safety of citizens.
Fixed gas prices and new social initiatives
The president announced that the gas price for the population will remain unchanged for the winter period, and also instructed to explore the possibility of increasing salaries for teachers. 'All decisions made must be implemented, as there are resources for this,' Zelensky stressed.
Zelensky also thanked officials for their assistance to internally displaced persons and pointed to Russian sabotage using tankers, promising to provide a new report on these issues in the near future.
Global response to Russia's aggression
The president emphasized that the world community has changed its approach to Russia and supported a new strategy to respond to Russian aggression. 'Determination acts - pressure, sanctions, and state support in response to Russia's attacks,' he noted.
Zelensky's meetings with representatives of the OSCE and Denmark were crucial for international support and political pressure on Russia. 'We have the resources for this,' the president added.
In his address, Zelensky focused on the importance of supporting Ukrainian citizens in difficult wartime conditions and emphasized the need for cooperation with international partners in the fight against Russian aggression.
