Zelensky on air defense and weapons from the USA: what agreements Ukraine will fulfill by winter.
According to inkorr.com: The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, outlined the main directions of foreign policy in the near future. Among the key tasks is the implementation of agreements on air defense systems and joint defense production with international partners, particularly with Denmark and other European countries.
Before winter, we must fulfill every agreement regarding the supply of air defense systems, regarding missiles for them, as well as contracts for procurement.
Zelensky also drew attention to the PURL program, which involves the procurement of American weapons. Ukraine needs to receive more than 3.5 billion dollars for new equipment, including 'Patriot' systems and drones.
Joint defense production and international cooperation
The President announced the beginning of joint defense production with several powerful European countries, which is an important step forward for Ukraine. In the near future, an active diplomatic week is also planned on the international stage, as well as a visit from U.S. President Donald Trump, which may help coordinate efforts against Russia.
If there is no really tangible response from the world to the protraction of the war by Russia, Putin will continue to interpret this as permission to fight. Only a strong and united European potential in alliance with America can be a reliable defense.
Ukraine confirms its readiness to cooperate with other states to ensure its own security and protection against potential threats from Russia.
These initiatives reflect Ukraine's deep understanding of the current challenges in the context of international politics. Strengthening defense capabilities and deepening cooperation with allies indicate the country's desire to strengthen its position on the world stage.
