Zelensky greets Ukrainians on New Year
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated Ukrainians on the arrival of the New Year and expressed his gratitude for their contribution to the development and protection of the country in 2024.
Zelensky emphasized that the past year was the result of the joint efforts of all citizens of Ukraine - both military and civilian, who work for the construction and protection of the country and provide help to each other.
The head of state noted that 2024 was filled with work, courage, humanity, and principledness of the entire Ukrainian people. He especially highlighted the importance of care, development, and the desire to change reality for the better, despite difficult circumstances.
Zelensky also noted that Ukrainians have learned not to wait idly for the future but to fight for each day and year of freedom. He characterized 2024 as 'hard-earned and free' and called it another step towards justice, honest peace, victory, and life without war.
In concluding his address, the president wished citizens strength, unity, and inspiration in the new year.
