Zelensky: Russia launched over 1300 bombs and much more

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held an online meeting with journalists during which he spoke about Russia's aggression against Ukraine. He noted that since the negotiations with Washington, Russian forces have attacked Ukraine over 1300 times. In particular, 8 missiles, 580 'shaheds' and 44 'Lancet' drones were launched.

Zelensky emphasized that these figures could be different if Russia showed a willingness to avoid further escalation of the war. The President also stated that such actions by Russia are a response to peace negotiations.

During the meeting, explosions occurred, to which Zelensky responded that this again confirms the activity of military actions. He also stated that Putin continues to seek to reduce Ukraine's defense capabilities by making ultimatums, but Ukraine and its partners do not intend to agree to such a deal.

The news about Russia's aggression was announced by Zelensky during the online meeting with journalists, which took place on the evening of March 18. The President also confirmed that tomorrow there will be a prisoner exchange between Ukraine and Russia. Ukraine will receive 23 severely wounded Ukrainian soldiers as a gesture of goodwill.
