Zelensky appointed new ambassadors in six countries and representatives at the UN and NATO.


Zelensky has carried out restructuring in Ukraine's diplomatic corps
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has begun a reform of the country’s diplomatic corps, dismissing several ambassadors in strategically important areas. According to a statement posted on the Office of the President's website, among the dismissed diplomats were the ambassadors of Ukraine to China, Japan, Slovenia, and Lithuania.
Among those removed from their positions were Pavlo Ryabikin, Serhiy Korsunskyi, Andrii Taran, and Petro Beshta.
Additionally, the powers of Serhiy Kyslytsia as Ukraine's permanent representative to the UN and representation in the Bahamas and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago were revoked. Furthermore, Yevheniya Filipenko was dismissed from her position as Ukraine's permanent representative to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva, and the appointment of Emine Dzhaparova as Ukraine's representative to international organizations in Vienna was canceled.
Earlier, President Zelensky announced the appointment of new diplomatic representatives, approving more than 30 candidates for various positions. Among the future appointees were Nariman Dzhelyal, Alona Hetmanchuk, and Yevhen Tsymbaliuk.
