Zelensky on the Kursk Operation: The aggressor must be fought on their territory.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, emphasized the importance of military operations on the territory of the aggressor and awarded the soldiers participating in the Kursk Operation.
'The aggressor and criminal can and must be fought at home. The occupant can and must be resisted on their territory. And this is not only just but also effective in protecting life in our country, in protecting life overall in Europe,' the head of state emphasized.
According to him, the Kursk Operation 'illustrates the meaning of the principle «Peace through strength».'
The President expressed gratitude to the fighters and commanders of the 80th, 82nd, 95th, 22nd, 61st Brigades, the 36th Brigade, the units of the 17th and 47th Brigades, as well as the soldiers of the 129th Territorial Defense Brigade. He particularly highlighted the contributions of the special operations forces, the SBU, and the MVD of Ukraine.
During the event, Volodymyr Zelensky presented state awards to the best soldiers and passports of Ukrainian citizens to foreigners who are fighting for the independence of our state.
