According to inkorr.com: On November 3, 2025, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a press briefing where he discussed the situation at the front, new military contracts, and international negotiations regarding the end of the war.

Situation at the Front

According to the president, there are about 60 Russian soldiers left in Kupiansk, and between 260 and 300 occupiers are in Pokrovsk. Active hostilities are ongoing in these cities, and the situation in Pokrovsk is currently the most tense. Fighting in Kostiantynivka is taking place without significant changes, while a military operation continues in Dobropillia.

New Military Contracts

The Ministry of Defense is working on new contracts for military personnel, with terms ranging from 1 to 5 years. This will allow servicemen to choose the length of service based on their abilities.

The president stated that he had not seen the so-called 'European plan' for ending the war; however, neither European leaders nor US President Donald Trump can force Russia to come to the negotiating table
.

Arms Exports

Ukraine is ready for arms exports, including maritime drones, while retaining some of the weapons for its own needs. Partners need to finance the production of weapons in Ukraine, and the finished products should be fairly shared equally. This year, the opening of two arms sales offices is planned - in Berlin and Copenhagen. The president's advisor Oleksandr Kamyshin will handle contracts with EU countries, while Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov will work on exports to the Middle East and Asia.

Expressing his opinion on the state of affairs, President Zelensky emphasized the importance of international support in the context of ending the war. Ukraine continues to seek new opportunities for cooperation with partners, affirming its intentions to activate the export of defense products and strengthen its military power on the international stage.
