Zelensky extended martial law and mobilization: new term.
Laws on the extension of martial law and mobilization in Ukraine signed by the President
President Volodymyr Zelensky signed laws on the extension of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine until May 9. According to laws No. 12404 and No. 12405 of the Verkhovna Rada, martial law and mobilization have been extended for the first time since the full-scale invasion of Russia.
The Military Medical Commission continues its work until June 5, 2025
It is recalled that the term for the repeated examination by the Military Medical Commission will be extended until June 5, 2025. Until then, individuals who did not manage to go through the commission will not be fined and not declared wanted.
Conscripts have the opportunity to submit an electronic request for referral to the commission via the 'Reserve+' system if they cannot be met on the specified date and place indicated in the summons.
The Cabinet of Ministers also allowed medical workers of state and municipal healthcare institutions to reserve 100% of their employees from mobilization.
The list of documents for individuals with disabilities and those temporarily unfit for military service to confirm the right to deferment has also been expanded in accordance with resolution No. 94 dated January 28, 2025.
