Zelensky revealed what the Kursk operation teaches Russia.
President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff, where key questions on the defense of Ukraine were discussed. Zelensky emphasized the importance of protecting the energy infrastructure from Russian attacks and strengthening positions on the front.
The President noted the supply of artillery, including Ukrainian "Bohdanas," and the provision of equipment to the brigades. As for energy, clear deadlines and requirements were set for each facility.
The President also listened to a report from Defense Minister Umerov on the results of the "Ramstein" meeting and negotiations with partners. Zelensky stressed the need for the rapid implementation of all agreed-upon arrangements.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrsky reported on the situation in the Donetsk directions, defense in the Kharkiv region, and active actions on Russian territory in the Kursk region.
"There was also a detailed purely military report from Commander-in-Chief Syrsky today. First of all, about the Donetsk directions. I thank all our units on the front lines, which ensure the complete fulfillment of tasks and truly steadfastly repel Russian assaults and restore our positions. This is important. It is also important to destroy as many occupier forces as possible. The Pokrovsk direction, Kurakhiv direction – it is there that the Russian army must lose as much combat capability as possible. Separately, the Commander-in-Chief reported on the defense in the Kharkiv region. And about our active actions on Russian territory - in the Kursk region. I am proud of all our warriors who, with their actions, teach Russia to clearly know where its land is and where the neighbors' land is," he said.
Zelensky also reported on preparations for the Crimean Platform summit on September 11 and the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen.
