Zelensky spoke about the goals Ukraine achieved thanks to the Kursk operation.
The Kursk operation broke enemy groups and resolved the issue of non-occupation of Sumy and Chernihiv regions
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at the "Ukraine 2024" forum stated about the success of the Kursk operation, which stopped the Russian offensive on the Kharkiv region and prevented breakthroughs in the north of Ukraine. Zelensky emphasized that the operation also broke enemy groups.
The president noted that Russia still has a strategic goal to capture the Donetsk region and has already transferred its troops to the Kursk region. However, stopping actions will depend on Ukraine's success in the Kursk operation.
Zelensky stressed that in the current situation, tricks need to be used to win on the Pokrovsk direction.
The president also indicated that Russia's goal has remained unchanged since 2014 - to occupy the entire Donetsk region.
