He sharply criticized European nations for what he described as inadequate defense efforts. Zelenskyy pointed out that Europe has deployed only 30-40 troops to Greenland, a number he considers insufficient to protect the region from potential threats posed by Russia and China. He proposed the creation of a 'United European Armed Forces,' stressing that without concrete action, Europe risks not being taken seriously on the global stage.

Trilateral Meetings and Ukraine's Defense Capabilities

During his speech, Zelenskyy also announced upcoming trilateral technical meetings involving Ukraine, the United States, and Russia, which are scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates. He highlighted Ukraine's growing defense industrial capacity, noting the country now produces 1,000 interceptors per day. Furthermore, the president stated that the losses of the Russian Federation's army have more than doubled compared to the previous year.

Zelenskyy observed that Europe appears confused in its attempts to persuade the U.S. President to change, a prospect he doubts will happen. He questioned Europe's readiness to respond to potential acts of aggression, such as if Putin decided to seize Lithuania or strike Poland.
